Teng will do 10K for the First Time

Come 6 Feb 2011, Teng and I join thousands of Pinoys (and foreigners) in running a race to Save our Dolphins! And get to enjoy the Manila Skyway scenery.

But most of all... I have finally convinced Teng, after more than years of joining races... that she runs with me the 10-kilometer course! And she agreed! YES!

See you all at the Condura Skyway Marathon 2011. A little expensive at P950 per person as registration but you get to contribute and save our wildlife... and the running shirt is a very nicely done dri-fit white shirt!

Congrats too to Sir Patrick Concepcion and his team for the very organized registration system. I am sure the race itself will be very, very organized and runner friendly! A race organized by a runner ensures runners are well taken cared of!

I am so excited!

Two weeks

Wifey and I ran almost everyday for TWO WEEKS. Then the menses and flu came... for TWO WEEKS, we were stuck at home.

We bought weights and brother Concon made a training bench. Bawi!

Namaol

Teng and I had pamaol (muscle pains) from running the previous days. Teng had his haplas (liniments) before we geared to Camp Aguinaldo. We have to bring the car because we needed to have some groceries from Dailys Supermarket.

We walked for 3 rounds, 2 rounds of run, and the usual last round of walk.

6.8 rounds

Ran again with wifey at Camp Aguinaldo. 3 rounds of brisk-walk, 2.8 rounds of run, and 1 round of another brisk-walk. We're enjoying the company and of course the joint exercise.

Concon had 12 rounds.

RUBU

Wifey, Teng, is back into running. And since I just returned to running as well, I can now pace with her. Glad to be her RUBU or running buddy! We get to review the days' happenings and share what made our day beautiful. We get to updates ourselves too about how we feel about our children!

We had 3 rounds of brisk-walk around Camp Aguinaldo's jogging track, 2 rounds of jogging, and a round of brisk-walking in 30 minutes. Concon completed 12 rounds (4.8 km) within the same period.
